2007 certainly was a great year for us! We had somewhat of an "event" that took place...(aka wedding)! We also went on an awesome tropical island for our honeymoon. If we had the money, we would move in a heartbeat! We became the proud Great-Aunt & Great-Uncle to Garrett on Thanksgiving Day. There were showers, teas, bachelor and bachelorette parties, rehearsal, meetings with vendors, etc. It seem as if 2007 came and went in the blink of an eye.
Now we've found ourselves in a new year. It is going to be a good year. At least we hope. So far this year we've spent some big $ from home repairs to medical tests. We've had the HVAC system replaced on the house, a new water heater put in (last night), and some plumbing work done.
This morning I trotted off to the hospital (at 6:15am) for an MRI and X-rays of my back. So needless to say, 2008 will be a good year...it can only get better! :-)
So how about those annoying New Year's Resolutions? Has anyone made any? Not me. Why promise yourself you're going to do something only to break it?
Look out 2008, here we come!
